When I was younger I often considered running away. Usually it was over really trivial things such as falling out with friends or being overly nervous about an upcoming exam. I never had an end destination in mind, not like Will Brennan (Perry Eggleton) who aged 11 knew exactly where he was heading when he ran away from school in England and wound up in Istanbul ahead of the 2005 Champions League Final in Istanbul between AC Milan and Liverpool FC.

I’m not much into football and thought that “WILL” would be a film solely for football fanatic parents and their offspring! From looking at the trailer though, there seems to be enough humour, angst and a decent plot to make it a film for all the family regardless of their views on football! If you’re looking for days out with the family then add this to your itinerary.

The film stars Damian Lewis and Bob Hoskins as well as cameos from Manager Kenny Dalglish, players Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher. Perry Eggleton seems relatively unknown but hopefully we’ll see more of this young actor in the future.

The film is out in the UK on 4th November 2011. If you go to see it, let me know what you and the family thought of it!!
