My daughter asked me the other day why my blog is called Circus Mums if there is only one of me. Honestly? I fell in love with the name Circus Mum as it represented me so well at the time, but unfortunately the url was taken, I was stubborn and just added the s on the end so I could keep it. No more of a reason than that. But over the years the name has begun to represent the community of mums I’m now a part of.

A couple of years ago I wrote a post on why we are all circus mums. We all juggle our many facets of our personalities, trying to entertain our little ones, trying to entertain ourselves. The blog may have started out as a way for me to have a creative outlet and connect with other people when my daughter was little and I was stuck at home with nobody to share poop stories with, but now, I want it to be about more than me. I want it to be representative of us all. To help us all. To inform us, to entertain us and to leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Through this blog I have met loads of Circus Mums, some, such as Nicki, Natalie and Vicki have been kind enough to share their stories with us over the years. I’ve been blessed to have met these fabulous parents and you know what, I want to meet you too! I want to share your story.

So what next?
