I had no intention of posting tonight. But then I saw this video. This video shows EIGHTEEN PEOPLE walk past a toddler who was a victim of a hit and run In Guangdong Province, China. It shows the toddler lying in agony in the street after being hit by a small van and then another minutes later. It is disturbing so please do not watch this if you are sensitive.

I hope that if God forbid, something were ever to happen to my daughter, the first person to walk upon her would do whatever they could to preserve her life, even if all that means is calling an ambulance.
To see so many people walk past a defenceless, clearly injured child (including a mother walking past with her own toddler) sickens me to the pit of my stomach. Karma is a bitch and ignoring that child will come back to haunt them one day.

My thoughts are with the two year old, whose name is Wang Yue and her family. Yesterday it was reported she was in critical condition in Guangzhou Military District General Hospital where the head of neurosurgery stated she is likely to stay in a vegetative state if she survives.

Both drivers of the vehicles that ran over the little girl have been arrested and it is reported they claim not to have seen her. The public outcry seems to be directed more at the passers by who walked straight past her injured body. This has left me incredibly upset. How anyone could walk past her is beyond my comprehension.
