It’s half term and I didn’t book any time off work, partly because I only work part time so didn’t see the point of it, but mostly because I forgot it was half term until Wednesday of last week so it was too late. Anyway, with that in mind, I had to figure out a plan to make ‘my’ half of the week with Princess as enjoyable and memorable as possible as I doubt she’ll be getting up to too much at her grandparents. Bless their cotton socks but they are not the type to spontaneously take her to a fun fair or a trip into town for that matter. It’s ok though, she’ll get spoiled rotten in other areas, but I thought I’d give her a fix of London to keep her going over the next few days.
We spent a few hours strolling around Covent Garden, in and out of the Disney Shop and Build a Bear, as well as enjoying the free street entertainment in and around the area.

Wow haven’t been to Covent Garden for ages! They have changed quite a bit! We’ll have to go there and visit again sometimes! Glad you and your girl had a lovely day out đ x
Ooh yes! Come down, it’s such a great way to spend some time. That being said, I can also while away an entire day in Spitalfields and Brick Lane, though they don’t have the cool street entertainment.
What a fab day out-not been to Covent Garden for ages, visit London often just never seem to get there, will do next time. Fab pictures and adore your new look on the blog-clean, vibrant and you know my favourite colour is red-you rock x
Yes, the boys will love all of the street entertainment! Loads of lovely places to buy treats too!
Thanks or the blog feedback too! Wanted to try a different look, wasn’t sure about the red but think I’ll keep it after all!!
What a lovely trip out! There looks so much to see and do!
Ohh and that cake!! Yum! x
It was a fab trip Kim, I only wish I’d tasted the cake now!
I love Covent Garden! I don’t visit often enough but it means each time is a treat. The sights sounds and smells are second to none.
It’s such an overlooked gem! I find lots of non-Londoners tend to visit but people who live here, not so much!
