Green smoothies are the one! I don’t really like having breakfast and although I make sure Princess eats before she leaves for the child minder, I usually leave the house with little more than half a cup of coffee in my tummy. I’m trying hard to stick to Weight Watchers plan and one of the messages that get drilled into our head is the importance of not skipping meals. Juicing and smoothies seem to do the trick and replaces my coffees in the morning without making me feel like I’m ‘eating’g
Simple, quick and easy. Sometimes I add half a banana or a handful or strawberries but mostly I stick to the recipe I had above. It’s a zero pro points start to the day so if a couple of hours later I feel peckish I can have a yoghurt or something more substantial points wise without feeling guilty as I wouldn’t have used any points before hand.
I’m new to this breakfast game and need to spruce up my repertoire of easy meals to prepare at 6am in the morning before work so all suggestions are welcome!
