Do you remember last week I was over the moon about my 3lb weight loss? Do you recall how passionate I was about my ProPoints Weight Watchers app and how great it was being able to track things?
Did you maybe notice that I omitted the fact I’d pigged out all weekend on restaurant meals as a pat on the back for my great effort all week? Nope? Yeah I forgot to mention that didn’t I?
Funny thing is my scales didn’t ‘forget’ all the crap I ate, nor did it forget that I’d done next to no exercise all week!
I put on 1lb!!
Seriously. Grrr. I would love to be more annoyed and emotional over it all but I’m not. I’m pleased. Pleased that it’s only a 1lb as opposed to having to start completely by scratch! I know where I went wrong, no need to search through my week of food diaries looking for hidden points. There was no sulking, just quiet acceptance and a trip down to Tesco to stock up on low Points value foods to keep me on track this week. With the help of Britmums, Weight Watchers and everyone taking part in #Back2Best I will defeat my need to be naughty and sabotage my own progress! I went to the gym yesterday and will be heading off again tomorrow. Today I’ll do some kettle bell moves from the comfort of home and maybe even a quick bike ride or jog. There will be bad weeks, last week was one of them, the key is to move on and try harder the following one!
