I’ve been waiting all year for London Cocktail week. You see, I’m not a binge drinker, not even much of an evening in with a glass of wine and cherry pie kind of girl. What I do appreciate though is a good, well made coctail once in a while, poured by an expert. The King who is tea total, had a flyer for a rum house taking part in London Cocktail Week and since then I’ve been immensly excited at the prospect of donning my wrist band and hitting the 100 bars around Covent Garden, London offering £4 cocktails to try out the best the city has to offer. There will be coctail master classes, talks and of course the chance to try these beauties out.
The event is also covering bars in Shoreditch and Notting Hill with a special vintage routemaster courtesy of Lovoka Vodka Liquer transporting us between venues. (Do you like how I said ‘us’? I better find a babysitter….) Wrist bands can be purchased in advance at LondonCocktailWeek.com for a mere £4 and collected from Seven Dialls or it’s £10 is you wait until the week of the event.
