Hackney Wick-ed Weekend, 2012 Live Poetry

We went to the Hackney Wick-ed festival in Hoxton. There were some amazing stalls full of unique, creative products, great food and live poetry.. sorry I filmed this vertically rather than horizontally, I was smacking myself over the head when I got home!

    At least you got it on film. When we went to see the Olympic Flame, I thought I had filmed it. How stupid did I feel when I went to view it? I had only recorded a whole load of rubbish and mainly the pavement (the phone was in my hand) and NOT recorded the actual flame. What I had done was, press record at the wrong time and when the flame arrived, I pressed pause, then un-paused it when the flame had passed. So I had a 12-minute recording and then a 23-minute recording of nothing, basically!!! A moment in history to pass on…

      hahahahha sorry this made me giggle when I read it earlier on the train! That would have left me feeling sooooo annoyed it’s unbelievable!
      Grr, well guess you’ll have to get tickets to Rio so you can replicate the experience in 4 years time!
