Stirfry surprise

I made this the other day and could easily have it every single day if only my metabolism allowed it!

Super quick, no store bought sauces. I used Sharwoods dried noodles, boiled then added to the stirfry!
For the sauce I used soy sauce, sesame oil, water and a bit of cornflower to thicken.

There are massive prawns, salmon, chicken thigh, broccoli, sweet corn and sugar snap peas up in this dish!! What’s great is that you can mis and match until you get something all the family is happy with, for instance if The King is eating I don’t add any fish or seafood, if it’s just me I’ll probs add a couple boiled eggs….

What are your favourite stir fry ingredients!!?

I love a good old tofu stirfry and my favourite veg to use are sugar snaps and baby corn – hubby hates corn though, so it’s a me only treat. Love how you call your hubby The King! ;)

Ooh I love tofu! The King hates most things I covet so this stirfry is a special treat for when he isn’t around!!

Mmmmmm yum yum! I love all things SE Asian!! How about this – 2 tablespoons each of soy sauce, sake (or rice vinegar), brown or caster sugar. Mix it up, marinate your meat/fish for as long as you want (1hr plus ideally), then drain and cook the meat/fish, add veg and then add the sauce at the end. Lovely! Oh gosh, I have so many more up my sleeve…now should I give them out???

OOoh I make a similar marinade but with honey rather than sugar. Which is odd as I hate honey but love it in Asian cooking!

Bring on the recipes! I want them all!

    Hey girlies,

I used to make stirfrys all the time and haven’t for about a year now – no idea why really. I must do it again. Maybe I could shift those few unwanted lbs if I did. I also use all natural ingredients – no store bought sauces for stirfrys. Thanks for inspiring me in the kitchen Tin ;-) Can’t wait for you to cook us a meal one day – if only my laptop had smell-a-vision or better yet taste-a-vision ;-) lol

    Take care everyone, Kate
