Princess asked for a dolls house for Christmas and ‘Santa’ willingly obliged, it came with a few dolls and some nice furniture which she quickly upgraded to more modern suites and a real porcelain bathroom set courtesy of her Nana. She even has tiny loo roll as she explained it was unhygienic for them not to!
Unfortunately her doll family went on a trip and ended up next to the dog’s bed. A couple of them made it home unscathed but the men were left with missing limbs.. it was all very traumatic!
Anyway, the lovely people at dollshouses.co.uk sent us a new family to fill her house along with Sophie’s Car, a very fetching pink number with an open roof and a big boot for all the family’s accessories. Princess opened her packages on her birthday and was immediately drawn to her new dolls. The family have moved into their new home and have been on trips all around the house in their spacious ride. Luckily the original occupants of the house hold no hard feelings to the new members and are getting on really well.
I really liked the quality of the car. It seemed very sturdy and had that traditional feel of toys of my generation or that of my parents. The car came with some cute wooden bags which Princess enjoyed putting in and out of the boot. There is also a little steering wheel and lovely attention to detail such as the painted on car handles.
There are some lovely furniture and accessories available on the website and I may treat Princess to a new kitchen set. With all these new mouths to feed it only seems right to upgrade!
Sophie’s Car and My Family were sent to me for the purpose of this review. All views are my own, though you should know this about me by now!
