It’s that time of year again! The sun has finally graced London with its presence and suddenly anything seems possible. Notting Hill Carnival is round the corner and for one reason or another I haven’t been in a few years. This year I may take Princess to sample the wonderful coconut water, grilled corn on the cob, beautiful floats and banging sound stations.
I’ll need a comfortable outfit so a maxi dress is a must. Wedges will add the required height without giving me sore feet and a level of glamour to the outfit, otherwise it could look like I was off to the high street. I love maxi dresses when I’m out and about near children as there’s no way of them pulling down your skirt or exposing a boob to the world when they are tugging your clothes to catch your attention of plead for something (normally sweets or ice cream).
I’m thinking that as long as rain isn’t forecast I’ll wear my hair out in a twist out of shingled afro. Loud, proud and low maintenance hair and outfit! What do you think? Like the colours!?
