Princess is now 4! It’s crazy as I still remember her birth (well bits of it anyway) like it was just the other day. Now we have to think about school uniforms, half terms and remembering book bags! It is the beginning of a whole new era.
Princess had a fantastic two day birthday, her actual day was spent at the childminders so she had cake and treats there. The Saturday was great as some of her favourite friends came round and she got to catch up with some family members too! The King treated us all to a meal at Princess’ favourite Turkish restaurant ( the kids love the bread and tzatziki as well as the grilled chicken) followed by more fun and games back at home.
I was told more than once that I must be really tired but I think it’s more a case of having no make up on and not putting a brush through the fro making me seem a little unkempt!
We cut back on the amount of gifts this year but think there still is work to be done next year on trying not to over do it!! Her favourite gifts from The King and I were a great wooden car and extra dolls for her dolls house and her new Hello Kitty roller skates. I really tried to talk her out of these as I’m not keen on her whooshing around on eight wheels but luckily the weather has been on my side so far and we’ve been unable to try them out (boohoo what a shame!)
Our friends and family bought Princess some gorgeous gifts and I’m so honored to have them in our lives. I don’t mean to gush but I have to say it does make me all warm inside knowing they all love and care about Princess too, because, after all she is amazing! Of course I’m biased but hey, she is!
Now on to thinking about Christmas..
