>Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer – Circus Mum’s Wishlist week#1

>

This week’s item to be coveted is the Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer.

Yes, you’ve probably heard me talk about it in previous posts and if you’ve been reading my blog you know that I have a very strong relationship with food. Not only do I love eating, but I absolutely adore cooking and baking.

Kitchen Aid is an institution in it’s own right. Known for their amazing classic designs and durability, whether you want to stuff a sausage, knead dough or whip cream, this stand mixer does it all. Whilst I will readily admit I may not ever use it to stuff my own sausages, it’s kind of cool to know that the same stand mixer that I’d use to produce amazing cakes, could be used to create hand made sausages too! (surely I’m not the only one who thinks that it’s a cool concept?)

There are so many additional accessories for the Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer that it really is the gift that keeps on giving. Not sure what to get Tinuke for Christmas? How about the pasta attachment or the ice cream making attachment for that really cool candy apple mixer she keeps on harking about?

The range of colours is immense and no matter what your colour scheme, it’s likely you can find one that matches in with your kitchen. Personally I would go for the candy apple red as it just pops out at you and would go really well with the Smeg fridge that I also really want (but that’s a whole other post!)

I’ve asked The King for this mixer and have promised to have a freshly baked cake on the counter top every weekend in return. So far it hasn’t won him over, but surely with time he’ll understand why I need this stand mixer in my life!

    >Ooh they are gorgeous. Surely with the promise of weekly cake baking an appliance should be winging its way over to you soon??

I'm currently lusting after the le creuset range. Think I've reached the point in my life where I need to be owning some heavy weight kitchen items lol…
