>Princess Rocks All Round Flat Rope Twists

I’ve never tried to flat rope twist Princess’ hair before. She is not the most patient of people so I usually settle for your run of the mill cornrows or box braids with beads, but I was inspired by the beautiful designs over at Chocolate Hair Vanilla Care and after watching the tutorial I just had to have a go myself.

Be sure to take a look here at the original style as it is much better than my attempt, but as far as first attempts go- . . . I don’t think mine was toooooo bad!?

I used Shea Butter and water, no other oils as Princess had a deep condition with Aubrey Organics GBP Conditioner the night before, plus I’d run out of all my favourite oils and I’m waiting on my Amazon order!

I’m hoping this will last a week or two, Princess is one active toddler so finding protective hairstyles that look good and can handle the rough and tumble of a three year old’s hectic lifestyle!

Let me know what you think! Share your toddler hairstyles and tips, I’m always looking for new ideas!

xx

    >Thank you Rory!
It's my new favourite method, stays so neat but without tugging at her hair.
